You can use options in youtube to record your computer screen, as an alternative to Jing, Quicktime Player, and Screencast-O-Matic. Before you can use this option in youtube you need to have a youtube account, so if you don't have one, create an account. You can sign up through your google account.
Once signed up you must go to your channel that you have with an account. Once on your channel click upload, which will bring you to a separate page where you can upload or create youtube videos.
Once on this page, you will have click the get started button inside the live streaming box. This will bring you to another page.
After you are in the live event page you will be shown with many options. Click the events tab, and you will brought to another page. All you have to do from there is click the create new live event button and it will bring you to this page. From this page you will be able to change the settings for the youtube video you will be creating. You can choose to make it private or public. You have to give it a title, and you may add a description or any other tags if you like. Once you are ready to record your screen click go live now.
Once you click go live now your broadcast screen will pop up. To start recording your screen, hover your mouse over the the tab. A side bar will pop up, and you will click the green box that says screenshare. From that you will be given the option to record certain tabs or record your entire screen. Whatever you want you can choose. Once the loading bar on the bottom disappears, you now can start your video. You can click start broadcast, and your video has begun to record. Then you record your video and your screen will be recording until you click stop broadcast. Once you click stop broadcasts, your video will be uploaded to youtube.
Now you can view your video, and from there you can share your video to other places, like blogger or twitter. You can also get the link to embed your video to any platform you want.
